Our clients came to us wishing to replace their existing kitchen with a beautifully crafted, hand painted design that would better reflect the way they live. As a passionate cook who loves to entertain and regularly bakes her own bread, the kitchen needed to be both highly functional and welcoming — a space where practical day-to-day cooking and relaxed gatherings could sit comfortably side by side.
The brief focused on maximising storage and ensuring excellent accessibility throughout. Cleverly designed cabinetry makes full use of every available inch, with thoughtfully planned drawers and cupboards to keep ingredients, baking equipment and cookware neatly organised and within easy reach. A generous island with seating forms the heart of the room, providing ample preparation space as well as a natural hub for friends and family to gather. Completing the design is a spacious pantry area, offering dedicated storage for dry goods and baking essentials — the perfect addition for an enthusiastic home baker who values both order and efficiency in her kitchen.

This beautifully detailed kitchen combines timeless craftsmanship with thoughtful, modern functionality. The cabinetry has been hand painted in a soft pale grey, creating a calm and elegant backdrop that allows the room to feel light and welcoming. Paired with quartz worktops featuring a subtle shimmer, the overall effect is refined yet practical — the quartz not only catches the light beautifully but also offers the durability and easy maintenance that a keen cook truly appreciates.
At the heart of the space, the island makes a real statement. Seamlessly integrated within it is a sleek downdraft extractor. When in use, a glass panel rises smoothly from the worktop behind the hob, drawing steam and cooking odours directly away at source. The glass acts as a deflector, guiding steam into the extraction system before it can drift across the room — an elegant and highly effective solution that preserves open sightlines while maintaining performance. When not in use, the extractor lowers discreetly back into the worktop, keeping the island uncluttered and sociable.
Storage has been carefully considered throughout. Deep pan drawers provide generous, easy-access space for heavier cookware, while a LeMans corner solution ensures that every inch of the corner base unit is fully usable, gliding smoothly out to bring items at the back within effortless reach. A hidden double recycling waste bin keeps everyday necessities neatly concealed, and an extra-wide integrated fridge offers ample cold storage — ideal for entertaining.
All appliances are from the Neff collection, including a pyrolytic oven and combination microwave, delivering both versatility and easy cleaning. A dedicated housing area has also been thoughtfully designed to accommodate the client’s own air fryer.
Finishing touches such as large chrome knobs and pull handles add a confident, tactile detail, perfectly complementing the hand painted cabinetry and elevating the overall design. The result is a kitchen that is as hardworking as it is beautiful — designed for serious cooking, effortless entertaining and everyday enjoyment.
