This highly contemporary, monochrome scheme in grey and white is smart and dramatic. We used the same deep grey tiles on the wall and floor creating a stark contrast against the white units and sanitaryware. A panel of textured décor tiles rises centrally from both the bath and the shower tray adding subtle detail and interest. We installed underfloor heating to provide a constant temperature and sufficient heat to dry towels. The bath is curved at one end allowing better access from the bedroom door. We installed deck mounted bath valves, bath filler, and a retractable showerhead all controlled by a three way diverter. The shower door is a frameless, hinged bifold. Both bath and shower have a shelf recess to place bottles and soaps. The run of high gloss white units includes the boiler housing and the wall hung WC with concealed frame and cistern below, a tall storage unit and a countertop basin unit with drawers below. The large rectangular basin and lit mirror above complements the layout perfectly. A lit recess above the WC and the mirror provide subtle, ambient lighting when full lighting is not required.
