The Cider Mill

Kitchens

About

Our customers had lived in The Old Cider Mill for a few years before they decided to update their kitchen. The beautiful cream Aga and the terracotta floor tiles were the only items that would be staying. Storage, a large fridge and concealing some ugly pipes near the Aga were the top priorities when designing this space. The kitchen opens into a lovely bright conservatory used as a dining area.

Detail

The hand painted cabinets, in our Wootton design, were painted using Farrow & Ball Cornforth White. A mixture of cupboards and drawers along with a pantry unit and carousel baskets in the corner unit made the best possible use of the space. A dresser unit to the right of the Aga along with some boxed corbel supports hid the existing pipework and framed the tiles behind the Aga. A large integrated fridge and a dishwasher are hidden away, and a small wine chiller is perfectly situated for a few bottles of wine. The stunning granite worksurfaces in Silk have an undermounted ceramic sink integral drainer grooves and upstands.
