We were recommended by a previous customer to a lovely couple from Street. They had visited various kitchen showrooms in the area but asked us to design and manufacture their new bespoke kitchen. The existing kitchen had been well used and was badly in need of updating. The existing AGA was in also in need of some TLC. The whole room needed to be gutted, the new kitchen fitted, new plumbing and electrics, flooring and decorating.
Our brief was to provide a living space for the kitchen and dining area – both areas needed to compliment one another, be light and airy while providing maximum storage space. The new dining area needed space for a family sized table.
We were able to recommend a local company from Highbridge to recondition the AGA and we liaised with them to complete their work on the AGA just before we installed the kitchen to minimise disruption to the customers. The job was fully project managed to ensure continuity of the various tradesmen that were needed to complete the job.
The completed installation had a mixture of granite and solid oak work surfaces and the dresser with its internal lighting and display areas brought the two room together as one. The kitchen furniture was an inset style in a hand painted finish. It had curved chunky legs on the peninsular and an open display area above the newly reconditioned AGA.
It was a delight to work for this local family and we thank them for entrusting us with their new kitchen.
