Would you love a contemporary kitchen?
We were approached by a couple, with a young family, who were renovating their 1970s house in Butleigh, near Glastonbury.
They were looking for a local kitchen company that could provide them with their dream kitchen. John Franklin Kitchens can do just that … we offer a design service which includes 3D pictures for customers to be able to visualise what their new kitchen will look like. A full specification of units, appliances, accessories and the installation will be presented. Any alterations, tweeks or design changes can be applied and then reviewed at every stage. Every kitchen design can be bespoke to customers’ individual wishes.
The Corian work surfaces added to the sleek clean lines. The work surface also clads the end of the island unit adding to the angular lines and a very minimal style which the customers wanted to emphasise. Corian is a solid, non porous surface material, composed of acrylic resin and minerals.
The wide Neff induction hob has a point and twist control knob and stainless steel hot rod bars have been routed into the work surface to the right of the hob for placing hot pans. Above the hob is a Neff telescopic extractor which again sits beautifully in the sleek lines of the horizontal wall units.
The bank of Neff appliances includes two single ovens, a compact steam oven and a combination microwave oven – perfect for a busy family. They are all set at eye level height which just adds to the ease of use. An integrated fridge freezer sits behind the doors to the left of the ovens.
Altogether a beautiful, modern yet minimal kitchen perfectly highlighted with the colourful acrylic stools.
If you would like a kitchen similar to this why not call into our Glastonbury showroom and meet with one of our professional kitchen designers – we are always happy to help!
