As John Franklin Kitchens entered their 39th year of business, Sue Franklin decided it was time for a new look, a complete rebrand. This was sparked by the need for a new, modern website. Whilst planning this, it seemed like the perfect time to redesign the beloved ‘John Franklin Kitchens’ logo and update the colour scheme. Whilst this would be a major change for the company, she thought about her parents – Chris & John Franklin.
It all started in a barn at the bottom of their garden in Meare; John Franklin Kitchens Ltd. Whilst the business rapidly grew, they moved to larger premises in Glastonbury which is still the home of the showrooms and factory today. At first, she was apprehensive to tell her parents who are now retired and living in France. When she finally got around to telling them, her father, John Franklin, said “it’s about time Sue!”.
Fresh, refined and timeless. That’s the new look and what John Franklin Kitchens create for each and every customer for both bathrooms and kitchens.
To celebrate John Franklin Kitchens’ new look, a cheese and wine evening was held on Wednesday 12th September 2018 at the showroom in Glastonbury. The evening revealed the new look to all; staff, contractors, family, friends and customers new and old. All in all, it was a fantastic evening. John Franklin Kitchens would like to thank everyone involved, especially Teapot Creative, who played a massive part in the rebrand. John Franklin Kitchens look forward to the future with their new logo and website!
