As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to impact all our lives, we find ourselves making daily changes to ensure the safety and well-being of all our customers and colleagues. On the 24th of March 2020, we took the decision to temporarily close our showroom and factory, in line with the government guidelines, until further notice.

We understand and recognise that kitchen and bathroom design and installation is not deemed essential in this current situation. However, we believe that we can still start the conversation, offer advice and support with your decision. Afterall, designing your dream kitchen or bathroom can be a long process with lots of decisions. In addition, it can be a very positive and exciting prospect which can be helpful for our customers to focus on for a while.

We are currently able to offer online consultations with new and existing customers and provide you with virtual drawings and plans to start the process. From this, we can work together to create a forward-thinking plan to successfully design and install your kitchen or bathroom when it is safe to do so.

Following the Government announcement, we are taking the decision to reopen the factory on Monday 18th May 2020 with strict health and safety guidelines to keep our workers safe. This means we will be able to manufacture your kitchens and bathrooms. In line with the guidelines provided by the Government and providing you, the customer, are happy to do so, we are allowed to resume work within homes. We will be implementing changes to ensure maximum safety for our customers and workers.

Whilst the health and well-being of our customers, our team and the wider community remains key, we are looking at how we can implement changes to provide high-quality service to all our customers once we can fully reopen. With this in mind, we have changed the way our business works, making communication with new and existing customers easier and safer in the current situation. The following things have been implemented:

Enhanced customer service

We aim to respond to your calls or email queries within 2 hours of receiving in working hours. Please ask as many questions as you wish to our kitchen and bathroom experts.

Online consultations

We are offering online consultations to talk you through all your ideas, initial design, the installation process and any other questions you might have.

Increased cleaning measures

We will be increasing the amount of times the showroom, factory and office space is cleaned.

As the situation unfolds, we will continually review our processes in line with the Government announcements. We are exploring an appointment online showroom system in the near future because we know it’s difficult to purchase a high value item without seeing it in person. This will be in accordance with the legislations and strict COVID-19 measurements in place. Therefore, we can guarantee your safety and social distancing rights.

Finally, from everyone at John Franklin Kitchens, we would like to thank all of our customers, colleagues and partners for their continued kindness, patience and support over the past 40 years and we will look forward to the continued support as we reopen fully in the future.

We wish you and your families the very best of health during this time, so stay safe and stay in touch.

If you have any questions, please email enquiries@johnfranklinkitchens.co.uk and we will respond the best we can.
